swoon block #1

Remember here when I said I was going to join the swoonalong? Since I joined there have been loads of fabulous entries to the swoonalong flickr group. Katy showcased some of them here.

Finally today I got around to sewing together my first block, I cut it out over a week ago and have put off sewing the little pieces together as I thought it would take ages and I wanted to dedicate some time to it. I have just sewn together my first block in the past hour. take a peek I am rather impressed

It's far from perfect, but I like it.
